Day 6: Two Canadians in London

I was lucky enough to get to explore London with this lovely lady Carolyn. If you look behind us you can see a blue plaque marking 221B Baker St the home of Sherlock Holmes.

These plaques are all over the city and mark places where historical figures used to live. Fun fact Sherlock Holmes is the only fictional character to get a plaque.

Here’s a peek inside…

These figures were creepily life like.

I peed here. It was pretty magical.

We ate lunch and had a great view…of this.

While wandering up to Regents Park we were attacked by birds

And observed them sunbathing

Welcome to Abbey Road Studios. Getting the legendary photo is not as easy as it looks. You basically have to jump in front of traffic and hope they wait for you.

While getting lost in search of the tube we spotted some beautiful scenery

These saved my life numerous times

We found our way to Kensington Palace Gardens. This is the place where Queen Victoria was crowned and mourners came after Diana’s death.

We chowed down on an English delicacy…

And finished off our evening seeing Lindsay Lohan in Speed the Plow
