Prayers to St. George at NEW IDEAS FESTIVAL

Last month I was part of Alumnae Theatre’s New Ideas Festival. New Ideas Festival is an annual, three-week, juried festival of new writing, works-in-progress and experimental theatre, with a different program of plays each week and staged readings on Saturdays at noon.
This year’s festival features 16 new works, ranging in length from 10 to 60 minutes. The plays’ eclectic mix of characters includes three women mountain climbers at the top of their game, a dysfunctional parent council, three curious housemaids, a group of at-risk kids in a rehab yoga class, a street canvasser, a South American cardinal with a shady past, and Irish poet W.B. Yeats. I was thrilled to work on Prayers to St. George by Andrew Lee and directed by Meg Moran. Check out the trailer below of all the shows!
