Oleanna presented by Matchstick Theatre opened and closed in a flurry this past February. It was a wild ride and a difficult text but a super fun play and hardworking team behind it that I was happy to be a part of.
About the show:
Carol, a confused and idealistic student, confronts John, a professor on the verge of tenure. Misrepresentation, accusation, and disaster follow in an hour and a half of intense theatre that echoes the questions surrounding the student-led movements of today.
Matchstick Theatre is proud to present David Mamet’s incinerating drama Oleanna, a play sure to incite conversation, if not argument, on the weekend of February 18th-21st at The Box Theatre in Toronto.
