“Faith offers an example of how strong the female presence at this year’s fringe is…Faith lives and dies with Middleton’s extraordinary performance.” – The View
Every now and then a show comes along that scares, excites and inspires you, and FAITH by dear friend and Theatre By Committee company member Ben Hayward is just that. A raw and real telling of a young girl coming to terms with her father’s death and her infatuation with her youth minister is unapologetic and in your face, the kind of theatre I live for.
FAITH was submitted to the 2016 Hamilton Fringe Festival and won Best New Play. It garnered excitement during the Fringe Pitch evening and was listed as one of the shows not to miss. Reviewers agreed on the strength and power of the piece and show celebrated a successful run in Hamilton.
Theatre By Committee plans to do a remount of the piece in Toronto in late October. Stay tuned for more details.
